Accurx is an online consultation tool that helps GPs manage patient requests and queries through digital triage. Accurx makes it easier for patients to talk to their doctor and help GPs to prioritise and deliver care through message, phone and video.
All patient queries and requests are handled by our triage and care navigation team and prioritised based on clinical need. We aim to respond to all requests received within five working days. Once capacity has been met for the day, Accurx will be closed until the following working day. If the service is closed and you feel your problem is medically urgent and needs to be dealt with on the day, please telephone the surgery or call 111 out of hours.
Accurx is open 8am - 3pm Monday - Friday, until we have reached capacity for the day.
We aim to respond between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday
Please do not use Accurx in an emergency! Please dial 999 or 111 as usual.
Please check your Accurx account regularly for a response. Please read responses you receive carefully, so we can process your request promptly.
If you feel you require an appointment, please try to contact us as early as possible on the day - Contacting us earlier in the day will give us more opportunity to deal with your request appropriately.
All our registered patients are welcome, and as a parent or carer you can use Accurx on behalf of a patient.
